While most families who needed such help received it in the last quarter of 2005, the JCRS has continued to provide gift cards to those Jewish families with children who continue to have the greatest ongoing needs. Families representing approximately 40
Jewish youth received such aid in 2006 for amounts ranging from $400, to $2.000 per family in department/discount store gift
cards. |

Program Specific Requirements
All Program applicants must meet the
general Eligibility Requirements detailed on the Programs page. In addition,
in order to be considered, each applicant must also meet, comply with, or
agree to comply with the following criteria:
- Be a registered voter or eligible to
vote when old enough;
- Be a permanent resident of the
United States;
- Be a United States citizen --
refugees, who are not naturalized citizens, may be considered on a
case by case basis;
- Be a resident of the region area
affected by the 2005 hurricanes;
- Be a Jewish parents of minor
children or full-time Jewish student of college under the age of 25.
